Champion CHP-1N2

The Champion CHP-1N2 is a 60-ton skirmisher, a field-refit rework of the CHP-1N produced originally in 2602. It carries over the same armament in full: an LB 10-X AC in the right torso, an SRM 6 and paired medium lasers in the left torso, and twin small lasers in the center torso, with the Artemis IV fire-control system still tied into the left torso's launcher. The change is internal — double heat sinks replace the base model's single heat sinks, though the 300 fusion engine and cruising speed of 54 km/h, topping out near 86, carry over unaltered. It keeps the armless configuration of the original and its ferro-fibrous armor, and is built as a field refit at various sites rather than a single dedicated plant.
