Champion C

The Champion C is a 2867 field refit of the 2602 CHP-1N, a 60-ton skirmisher rebuilt around Clan-spec hardware on the same frame. Where the CHP-1N ran armless, this variant carries weapon-pod arms without hands, each fitted with an ER Medium Laser. In the left torso, twin Medium Pulse Lasers replace the paired medium lasers, and the SRM 6 there keeps its Artemis IV fire-control system. The LB 10-X AC stays in the right torso, while Small Pulse Lasers sit in the center torso and head in place of the small lasers. A 300 XL fusion engine replaces the standard 300 fusion engine, and ten double heat sinks replace the original ten single sinks. It carries the designation of a field refit, assembled at various facilities rather than a dedicated production line.
