The Black Hawk (Nova) B is a 50-ton sniper, cruising at 54 km/h and reaching 86 km/h, with a jump capability of 150 metres. Where the Prime configuration mounts six ER medium lasers in each arm, this configuration carries a Large Pulse Laser in the left arm and an Ultra AC/5 in the right arm, backed by a pair of Machine Guns in the left torso and an ER Small Laser in the right torso. Its heat-sink fit runs to 14 double sinks, fewer than the Prime configuration's 18. The type keeps a low, hard-to-target silhouette and carries a combat computer, and it is built by Tokasha MechWorks at Tokasha, with production also underway at other sites.
