The Black Hawk (Nova) A is a 50-ton sniper that fights at long range, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86, with a jump capability of 150 metres. Where the Prime configuration fills each arm with six ER medium lasers for close brawling, this configuration carries a single ER PPC in the left arm and another in the right arm, trading the Prime's short-range volume for reach. A Medium Pulse Laser sits in the left torso, and an Anti-Missile System occupies each torso location. The heat-sink count drops to 14 double sinks from the Prime's 18. It keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette and combat computer, and Tokasha MechWorks builds it at its Tokasha works alongside other production sites.
