Whitworth WTH-3

The Whitworth WTH-3 is a 40-ton missile boat that fights at long range, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65, where the 2610 WTH-1S was built as a close-in skirmisher. In place of the twin medium lasers, the head-mounted medium laser, and the paired SRM 6 racks, it carries four LRM 5 launchers, two in the left torso and two in the right. Endo steel internal structure replaces the standard framing of the WTH-1S, and the heat-sink count falls from 14 single to 10 single. Jump range rises from 120 to 180 metres, and a C3 slave unit sits in the head. The frame remains rugged and field-serviceable, and General Motors builds it at Kathil, with production also at Talcott.
