Whitworth WTH-2

The Whitworth WTH-2 is a 40-ton missile boat, a 3050 rework of the 2610 WTH-1S that trades the earlier machine's close-in armament for long-range reach. Where the WTH-1S carried twin medium lasers in the arms and paired SRM 6 racks in the torsos, the WTH-2 drops the arm lasers entirely and fields an LRM 10 in the left torso and an LRM 10 in the right torso, each tied to an Artemis IV fire-control system in its respective torso. A medium laser remains in the head, and the heat-sink count falls from 14 to 10 single sinks. Cruising speed holds at 43 km/h with a top speed near 65, and the design keeps its rugged, field-serviceable frame. Whitworth Specialty Manufacturing builds this version at Benjamin.
