Whitworth WTH-2H

The WTH-2H is a 40-ton brawler, a 3139 rework of the 2610-era WTH-1S that shifts the Whitworth from its original skirmishing role toward close-in fighting. Where the WTH-1S carried twin Medium Lasers and paired SRM 6 racks, this variant swaps the arm lasers for ER Medium Lasers and replaces the SRM 6 racks with MRM 10 launchers in each torso, each fed by an Apollo missile fire-control system; the head-mounted Medium Laser carries over unchanged. A heavier 200 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, and heavy ferro-fibrous armor replaces the WTH-1S's standard plating. CASE II is fitted in the left torso, and the frame keeps its rugged, field-serviceable build. Marian Arms Incorporated produces it at Alphard.
