Recognition Notes
The Wasp C is a 20-ton light rebuilt as a sniper platform, a 3143 reworking of the 2464 WSP-1 scout. In place of the single medium laser it carries an ER Large Laser in the right arm, and an improved one-shot Streak SRM 2 sits in the left leg where the original carried nothing. Endo steel structure and Clan ferro-fibrous armor replace the WSP-1's standard structure and primitive plating, and ten Clan double heat sinks stand in for the original's ten single sinks. The 120 Inner Sphere fusion engine now pushes the machine to 65 km/h cruising and 97 km/h top speed, up from 54 and 86, with jump range extended from 150 to 180 metres. Kali Yama Weapons Industries Inc. builds it at Kalidasa.
