Recognition Notes
The WHM-8K rebuilds the Warhammer around long-range sniping, a shift from the WHM-6R's close-in brawling loadout. Both shoulder-mounted PPCs give way to Heavy PPCs in the left and right arms, and the torso batteries of medium lasers, small lasers, and machine guns are replaced by a single Streak SRM 4 in the right torso. CASE lines the right torso, and a C3 slave unit sits in the head. Endo steel structure and light ferro-fibrous armor replace the WHM-6R's standard structure and armor, and 16 double heat sinks stand in place of the earlier 18 single units, while cruising and top speed hold at 43 and 65 km/h. It keeps the stable firing platform, fixed searchlight, and rugged, field-serviceable frame of the original, and the type is fielded as a field refit rather than built at a dedicated factory line.
