Recognition Notes
The WHM-8D is a 70-ton brawler, a 3066 rebuild of the 2515 original that swaps its weapons for extended-range and networked systems while keeping the same 280 fusion engine and speed. Where the WHM-6R carries a PPC in each arm, this variant mounts an ER PPC in the Left Arm and another in the Right Arm, and the torso-mounted Medium Laser and Small Laser pairs become ER Medium Laser and ER Small Laser units in the Left Torso and Right Torso. The Right Torso's SRM 6 is replaced by a Streak SRM 6, and the twin machine guns of the base model are dropped entirely. Endo steel structure replaces the standard frame, heat sinks drop from 18 single to 17 double, and CASE now lines the Right Torso alongside a C3 slave unit in the Head. It keeps the same fixed searchlight, stable firing platform, and rugged, field-serviceable frame as the WHM-6R, and StarCorps Industries builds it at its Crofton facility.
