The Salamander PPR-5S is an 80-ton assault that fights at long range, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. Three LRM 20 racks fill the left arm, left torso, and right torso, while a pair of medium lasers sits in the center torso for closer work. CASE lines both the left torso and the right torso, guarding against the volume of missile ordnance carried there. The endo steel frame and 320 XL fusion engine leave the design maintenance-intensive. Defiance Industries builds it at Hesperus II.
