Ostsol OTL-8F

The OTL-8F is a 60-ton heavy that fights at long range, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86, matching the pace of the 2694 original OTL-4D. Where that model carried a Large Laser in each torso, this version fields an ER PPC in the Left Torso and another in the Right Torso, and its four Medium Lasers are replaced by ER Medium Lasers in the same locations, with a pair still facing rearward from the Center Torso. An XL fusion engine replaces the standard fusion plant, ferro-fibrous armor replaces the base's standard plating, and the heat-sink count rises from 16 single to 18 double. It keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette of the OTL-4D. Robinson Standard BattleWorks builds the OTL-8F at Robinson, in place of Kong Interstellar's Connaught line for the original.
