Ostsol OTL-8D

The Ostsol OTL-8D is a 60-ton skirmisher, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86, matching the pace of the 2694 original OTL-4D while reworking its firepower. In place of the paired Large Laser and Medium Laser mounts in each torso, the OTL-8D carries a Light AC/5 and an ER Medium Laser in the Left Torso and the same pairing in the Right Torso, and the center torso's twin rear-facing Medium Lasers give way to a single forward-facing Light PPC. A 300 light fusion engine replaces the standard fusion plant, and 10 double heat sinks stand in for the earlier 16 single sinks. Heavy ferro-fibrous armor covers the frame in place of standard plating, and CASE protects both side torsos alongside a targeting computer in the Right Torso. The design keeps its low, hard-to-target silhouette, and Robinson Standard BattleWorks builds it at Robinson.
