Osteon (Jaguar)

The Osteon (Jaguar) is an 85-ton juggernaut that closes to brawling range, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54. Where the Prime configuration fields four Improved ATM 9 racks across both arms and both torsos, this configuration strips those out entirely in favor of direct-fire weapons: an Ultra AC/20 in the right arm, a Large Pulse Laser and an ER Small Laser in the left torso, and an ER PPC with a second ER Small Laser in the right torso. The left arm carries a Retractable Blade rather than a launcher. Heat sinking drops from the Prime's 10 double heat sinks to 12 double in this configuration. Both share the same 255 XL fusion engine, Inner Sphere reinforced structure, and ferro-lamellor armor. Kerensky Memorial Manufacturing builds it at Strana Mechty.
