Recognition Notes

The Osteon F is an 85-ton assault fielded as an alternate configuration alongside the Osteon Prime, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, sluggish figures for its bulk. Where the Prime configuration carries four CASE II-protected Improved ATM 9 racks across both arms and both torsos, the F strips that missile battery for a Gauss Rifle in the left arm, a Rotary AC/5 in the right arm, and a bank of machine guns in each torso — five per side, tied into a machine-gun array — with an ER Large Laser in the head. The Nova combined electronic-warfare system remains fitted in the head as on the Prime. Kerensky Memorial Manufacturing builds the type at Strana Mechty.
