Osteon C

The Osteon C is an 85-ton assault that fights close-in, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, with a jump range of 150 metres. Where the Prime configuration mounts an Improved ATM 9 in each arm and torso, this configuration replaces that missile battery with a spread of pulse lasers: a Medium Pulse Laser in the left arm, a Large Pulse Laser and Medium Pulse Laser in the left torso, a Medium Pulse Laser in the right torso, and a Large Pulse Laser paired with a Medium Pulse Laser in the head. The right arm carries a targeting computer in place of the Prime's Improved ATM 9 and its CASE II. Eleven double heat sinks cool the ferro-lamellor-armored frame, one more than the Prime fields, and the Nova combined electronic-warfare system remains housed in the head.
