Recognition Notes
The Mad Cat (Timber Wolf) BLO is a 75-ton skirmisher, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out at 86. Where the Prime configuration carries an ER Large Laser and ER Medium Laser in each arm, the BLO fields a single ER PPC in the left arm and another in the right. In place of the Prime's LRM 20 racks the torsos each carry a Streak SRM 6, and a TAG unit sits in the right torso alongside it; the center torso mounts an ER Small Laser where the Prime places a machine gun. A C3i computer and a Clan light active probe fill the left torso, equipment the Prime configuration does not carry. The BLO runs 18 Clan double heat sinks against the Prime's 17, and its mixed Inner Sphere and Clan tech base pairs Clan endo steel structure and Clan ferro-fibrous armor with the same fragile head noted on the Prime. Kallon Weapon Industries builds the type alongside several other Wolf Clan production sites.
