Mad Cat Mk II 5

The Mad Cat Mk II 5 is a 90-ton brawler, a 3109 rebuild of the 3062 original. Where the base machine mounts a Gauss rifle in each arm and four ER medium lasers split between the torsos alongside a pair of LRM 10 racks, this version strips the torso batteries entirely: the left arm now carries an Improved Heavy Large Laser and an Improved Heavy Medium Laser, while the right arm keeps a Gauss rifle. A light active probe sits in the head, and jump range doubles from 90 to 180 metres on the same 360 XL fusion engine, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. Ferro-fibrous armor and the endo steel structure carry over unchanged. It is built at the Itabaiana plant.
