Jenner JR7-C

The JR7-C is a 35-ton striker fighting in close, a 3050 field refit of the 2779 JR7-A that traded the original's reconnaissance role for a brawler's bite. Where the JR7-A carried a single Large Laser in the right torso, this configuration mounts three Medium Lasers, one in the left arm and a pair in the right arm, backed by an SRM 4 in the center torso. Ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the JR7-A, though the heat-sink count falls from 12 single to 10 single. A C3 slave unit sits in the left torso and CASE lines the right torso, and the chassis now shows minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands in place of the original's armless configuration. Cruising speed holds at 76 km/h with a top speed near 119, and the type is built through field refit at various sites rather than a dedicated production line.
