JagerMech JM7-D

The JM7-D is a 70-ton sniper, a 3057 rebuild of the 2774 JM6-S that trades tonnage and hardware for reach. Where the JM6-S mounted an AC/5 and an AC/2 in each arm, the JM7-D carries an ER large laser and an Ultra AC/5 in each arm, and the medium lasers in the torsos give way to a pair of medium pulse lasers in the center torso. A 280 XL fusion engine replaces the earlier 260 fusion engine, holding the same cruising speed of 43 km/h and top speed of 65 km/h despite the added mass, and ferro-fibrous armor replaces the JM6-S's standard plating. CASE now lines both the left and right torsos, and the 13 double heat sinks replace the JM6-S's 10 single sinks. The type keeps its anti-aircraft fire control, and Kallon Weapon Industries builds it at the Talon plant on Wernke.
