Recognition Notes
The HBK-7R rebuilds the 2572 Hunchback as a 50-ton brawler that fights close-in, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. In place of the AC/20 it carries an Ultra AC/10 in the right torso, and the twin Medium Lasers of the HBK-4G give way to ER Medium Lasers in each arm. The head-mounted Small Laser is replaced by a TAG unit, and a Guardian ECM suite now sits in the center torso alongside CASE II in the left torso. A 200 XL fusion engine and reinforced internal structure replace the original's standard fusion plant and structure, and light ferro-fibrous armor stands in for the standard plating, with ten double heat sinks in place of the HBK-4G's thirteen singles. The reinforced battle fists on both arms carry over from the original.
