Recognition notes
The HBK-5S is a 50-ton juggernaut built for close-in fighting, a 3061 rework of the 2572 HBK-4G. Where the original mounted an AC/20 in the right torso, this variant shifts an LB 20-X AC to the center torso, and its twin Medium Lasers become Medium Pulse Lasers in the left and right arms; the Small Laser stays fixed in the head. A light fusion engine keeps the cruising speed at 43 km/h and top speed at 65, and the chassis adds a jump capability of 120 meters absent from the base model. Endo steel structure replaces the standard internal frame, CASE lines the left torso, and the heat-sink count drops from 13 single to 10 double. Both arms still carry the reinforced battle fists. Norse-Storm BattleMechs builds the type at Yed Posterior.
