Hoplite HOP-4Bb

The Hoplite HOP-4Bb is a 55-ton brawler built on the same 220 fusion engine and chassis as the 2578 HOP-4A, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. Where the HOP-4A carried an LRM 5 and an AC/10 in its torsos on an armless frame, the HOP-4Bb mounts an LRM 15 in the left arm and an ER PPC in the right, fitted onto minimal weapon-pod arms without hands. An Artemis IV fire-control system backs the LRM 15, and an Anti-Missile System sits in the right torso alongside CASE, which is also fitted in the left torso; a Guardian ECM suite occupies the center torso. Eleven double heat sinks replace the HOP-4A's sixteen single sinks, and the type is built by Strana Mechty MechWorks at Strana Mechty in the Jaguar Enclave, with additional production at Eden.
