Hoplite C

The Hoplite C rebuilds the 55-ton medium as a Clan-tech brawler, where the 2578-vintage HOP-4A carried no defined role. In place of the original's armless hull with an LRM 5 and AC/10 buried in the torsos, this variant mounts an LRM 15 in the left arm and an Ultra AC/10 in the right arm, both arms now minimal weapon pods without hands. It adds a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers in the left torso and an ER Medium Laser in the center torso, none of which the HOP-4A carried. Ferro-fibrous armor replaces the base model's standard plating, and the heat-sink count drops from 16 single to 10 double while cruising and top speeds hold at 43 and 65 km/h.
