Hoplite HOP-4X

The Hoplite HOP-4X is a 55-ton sniper, a 3075 refit of the 2578-original HOP-4A. Where the HOP-4A carried an armless configuration, the HOP-4X mounts minimal weapon-pod arms without hands, fielding a Streak LRM 15 in the left arm in place of the LRM 5 and a Rotary AC/5 in the right arm where the original carried an AC/10. A 275 Inner Sphere light fusion engine lifts the cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and the top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, and Inner Sphere ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the base model. Inner Sphere CASE lines both the left torso and the right torso, and a Clan light active probe sits in the head. The heat-sink count falls from 16 to 10 single sinks.
