Recognition notes
The Hatchetman HCT-8S is a 45-ton striker built around a 225 Clan XL fusion engine that cruises at 54 km/h and tops out near 86, with a single jump carrying it 150 metres. An ER medium laser sits in each arm, and an LB 10-X AC fills the right torso alongside Inner Sphere CASE. The right arm also carries the hatchet that gives the chassis its name, fitted with an actuator enhancement system, and Inner Sphere endo steel structure backs standard armor plating. Defiance Industries builds the type at Hesperus II.
