Recognition Notes
The Hatchetman HCT-5S is a 45-ton brawler built to fight close in, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65 with a 120-metre jump capability. It carries a medium pulse laser in each arm and a third in the left torso, backed by an LB 10-X AC in the right torso, and the right arm still swings a hatchet in melee. CASE lines the right torso, the 180 XL fusion engine sits behind ferro-fibrous armor plating, and the type carries an anti-aircraft fire control system. Defiance Industries builds it at Hesperus II, with production also running at New Syrtis.
