Recognition notes
The Hatchetman HCT-5D is a 45-ton brawler built for close-in fighting, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65, with a jump range of 120 metres. Its right torso carries an Ultra AC/10 and its left torso an ER medium laser backed by a targeting computer, and the right arm still swings the hatchet that marks the chassis. A double heat-sink array of ten units cools the 180 XL fusion engine, and the type carries anti-aircraft fire control. Johnston Industries builds it at New Syrtis.
