Grand Dragon DRG-C

The DRG-C is a 60-ton skirmisher, a 3050 field refit of the 3024 DRG-1G original. An XL fusion engine replaces the standard powerplant, raising cruising speed from 54 to 65 km/h and top speed from 86 to 97, and the right arm's PPC gives way to an ER PPC. The right torso's medium laser is dropped, leaving a medium laser in the left arm and a rear-facing medium laser in the left torso alongside the LRM 10 in the center torso. CASE lines the left torso and a C3 slave unit sits in the right torso, and the double heat sinks number 13 against the original's 12 singles. It keeps its low, hard-to-target silhouette and stable firing platform, and is assembled piecemeal at various sites rather than at a single factory.
