Grand Dragon DRG-5K (Emory)

A 3039 rebuild of the 3024 DRG-1G, the Grand Dragon DRG-5K (Emory) is a 60-ton skirmisher cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86. In place of the PPC in the right arm it carries a Prototype ER Large Laser, and the LRM 10 in the center torso gives way to an LRM 15 in the left torso, where CASE now protects the magazine. The two additional medium lasers in the left and right torsos are gone, leaving a single medium laser in the left arm alongside the ER large laser and the missile rack. Endo steel prototype structure replaces the standard internal frame of the DRG-1G, and the heat-sink count rises from 12 to 15 single sinks. The type keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette and stable firing platform of the earlier model, and Luthien Armor Works builds it at Luthien.
