Grand Dragon DRG-5K

The DRG-5K is a 60-ton skirmisher, a 3050 rebuild of the 3024 DRG-1G that trades its predecessor's 300 fusion engine for a 360 XL fusion engine, lifting cruising speed from 54 to 65 km/h and top speed from 86 to 97. The right arm's PPC gives way to an ER PPC, and the right torso's forward-facing medium laser becomes rear-facing, matching the left torso mount. A medium laser still sits in the left arm and an LRM 10 in the center torso, and the heat-sink count rises from 12 single to 13 double. It keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette and stable firing platform of the earlier model, and Luthien Armor Works builds it at Dieron, Luthien, Nykvarn, Saffel, and Yorii.
