Gladiator GLD-1R (Keller)

The Gladiator GLD-1R (Keller) is a 55-ton medium skirmisher, a 3071 rebuild of the 2468 original that fought as a brawler. Where the base GLD-1R carried a pair of Medium Lasers in the left arm, this variant fields ER Medium Lasers in that arm, and in place of the right arm's Large Laser it mounts a Snub-Nose PPC backed by a PPC capacitor. An MML 5 sits in the right torso, a weapon the original lacked entirely. A lighter 220 light fusion engine replaces the base's 265 fusion unit while holding the same cruising speed of 43 km/h and top speed of 65 km/h; a supercharger in the left torso pushes it to a sprint speed of 86 km/h when engaged, and the same torso houses a C3i computer. Standard armor replaces the original's primitive plating, and 11 double heat sinks stand in for the base's 14 single sinks. The reinforced head cowl carries over from the GLD-1R. Sword of the Prophet Enterprises builds the type at Algedi, among other sites.
