Recognition Notes
The CDA-3M reworks the 40-ton Cicada as a striker, a 3049 rebuild of the 2740 original's scouting role, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out near 130. A 320 XL fusion engine replaces the standard fusion plant of the CDA-2A, freeing tonnage for an Ultra AC/5 added to the Left Torso alongside the Medium Laser there, while the Right Torso keeps its Medium Laser. The Center Torso's Small Laser is swapped for a Small Pulse Laser, and CASE now lines the Right Torso. Like its predecessor, it fights without arms, its silhouette an armless configuration. Gibson Federated BattleMechs builds it at Gibson.
