Recognition Notes
The CDA-3C is a 2840 rework of the 2740 Cicada, a 40-ton scout whose armless configuration carries over from the original. Where the CDA-2A relies on twin medium lasers and a small laser, this variant fields a PPC in the right torso alongside a Machine Gun in the left leg and a Machine Gun in the right leg, trading its short-ranged battery for a stand-off weapon and a pair of close-in guns. A lighter 280 fusion engine replaces the CDA-2A's 320, dropping cruising speed from 86 to 76 km/h and top speed from 130 to 119 km/h. The heat-sink count rises from 10 to 11 single sinks. HartfordCo Industries builds the CDA-3C at its Bryant factory.
