Recognition Notes
The CN9-D9 is a 50-ton skirmisher, a 3071 rebuild of the 2801 Centurion that traded its brawling role for reach and speed. Where the CN9-A carried an AC/10 in the right arm, the CN9-D9 mounts a Plasma Rifle there, and a 300 XL fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 43 to 65 km/h with a top speed near 97, backed by a 180-metre jump capability the original lacked. The LRM 10 in the left torso carries over, now paired with an Artemis IV fire-control system in that torso, and CASE lines the right torso. The rear-facing medium laser is gone; twin ER Medium Lasers now sit together in the center torso in place of the CN9-A's single forward-facing unit. Endo steel structure and light ferro-fibrous armor replace the standard components of the earlier machine. Corean Enterprises builds it at New Avalon, with Jalastar Aerospace producing it at Panpour as well.
