Recognition Notes
The CN9-D is a 50-ton skirmisher, a 3049 rework of the 2801 CN9-A that trades the older machine's brawling stance for reach and speed. In place of the AC/10, the right arm carries an LB 10-X AC, and a lighter 300 XL fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 43 to 65 km/h and top speed from 65 to 97. The LRM 10 in the left torso now feeds off an Artemis IV fire-control system in the same location, and CASE has been added to the right torso. Endo steel structure replaces the standard framing of the CN9-A, and the two medium lasers in the center torso, one facing rearward, carry over unchanged. Corean Enterprises builds it at New Avalon, with Jalastar Aerospace producing it as well.
