Recognition Notes
The CN9-D4D is a 50-ton skirmisher, a 3066 rework of the 2801-era CN9-A brawler. Where the original carried an AC/10 in the right arm, this variant fields a Light Gauss Rifle in the same location, and the LRM 10 in the left torso grows to an LRM 15 with an Artemis IV fire-control system feeding it. The two medium lasers of the CN9-A give way to a single ER Medium Laser in the right torso. A 250 XL fusion engine replaces the 200 fusion engine, lifting cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, with a MASC unit in the left arm pushing sprint speed to 108 km/h. Endo steel structure and ferro-fibrous armor replace the standard structure and armor of the CN9-A. Corean Enterprises builds the type at New Avalon.
