Assassin ASN-109

The ASN-109 is a 40-ton scout, a 3140 rework of the 2676 ASN-21 that trades an ordinary fusion plant for a 280 XL fusion engine while holding the same cruising speed of 76 km/h, top speed of 119 km/h, and 210-metre jump range. Where the ASN-21 carried a Medium Laser in the right arm, this variant fields a Light PPC there, and the SRM 2 in the left torso becomes an improved one-shot SRM 2 backed by CASE II. The LRM 5 in the right torso gives way to an MML 5, and stealth armor replaces the standard plating of the original. An Angel ECM suite sits in the head, and the design remains an easily-serviced machine despite its cramped cockpit. Hellespont 'Mech Works builds it at Sian.
