Albatross ALB-5W (Dantalion)

The ALB-5W Dantalion is a 95-ton assault that brawls at close range, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out at 65, with Triple-Strength Myomer letting its cruising speed climb to 65 km/h under combat heat. Where the ALB-3U pairs an LB 10-X AC with a Large Pulse Laser and twin Medium Lasers in the arms, this configuration swaps in an ER PPC in the left arm, backed by a PPC capacitor, and a Large VSP Laser in the right arm. The ER Large Laser, LRM 15, and SRM 6 of the base loadout give way to a torso battery of paired Medium Pulse Lasers, paired ER Medium Lasers, and an ER Small Laser in the right torso, with a Laser AMS in the head. A Guardian ECM suite sits in the left torso in place of the CASE fitted to both side torsos on the ALB-3U, and a lighter 380 light fusion engine and heavy ferro-fibrous armor replace the ALB-3U's 380 XL fusion engine and standard plating. This is a field refit rather than a factory-built machine, assembled at various sites.
