Puma (Adder) D

The Puma (Adder) D is a 35-ton light sniper standing alongside the Prime configuration of the same chassis. In place of the Prime's twin ER PPCs, this configuration carries an ER Large Laser in the left arm and an Ultra AC/5 in the right arm, and it mounts a Streak SRM 2 in each torso, weapons not found on the Prime. The Flamer in the center torso and the 210 XL fusion engine carry over from the Prime, with the same 65 km/h cruising speed and a top speed near 97 km/h. Ten double heat sinks cool the design, one fewer than the Prime's eleven, and ferro-fibrous armor covers a low, hard-to-target silhouette. Assault Tech Industries builds it at Donegal, with production also spread across several other sites.
