Owens OW-1F

The Owens OW-1F is a 35-ton striker configuration of the same OmniMech chassis, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out near 130. Where the OW-1 mounts a LRM 5 in each arm, this configuration carries an ER Small Laser in each arm, and in place of the base configuration's twin Small Lasers in the center torso it fields a Light PPC. The head carries a targeting computer where the OW-1 mounts a Medium Laser, and the TAG in the right torso carries over unchanged. The left torso pairs the Beagle active probe with a Guardian ECM suite, the right torso keeps the C3 slave unit, and an anti-personnel pod sits in the right leg. Luthien Armor Works builds the type at its OmniMech Production Facility on Luthien, with Irian BattleMechs Unlimited producing it as well.
