Recognition Notes
The Owens OW-1C is a 35-ton striker, an alternate configuration of the Owens OmniMech built alongside the OW-1 missile boat. Where the OW-1 carries an LRM 5 in each arm, this configuration mounts a Large Laser in the left arm and a Medium Laser in the right, with a TAG in the right torso as on the base configuration. The OW-1's Small Laser in the center torso and its head-mounted Medium Laser are absent here. It cruises at 86 km/h and tops out near 130 km/h on its 280 XL fusion engine, quick for its weight. Luthien Armor Works builds it at its Luthien OmniMech production facility, with Irian BattleMechs Unlimited producing it as well.
