Recognition Notes
The Owens OW-1E is a 35-ton striker that fights close in, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130. Where the OW-1 configuration mounts twin LRM 5 racks in the arms alongside a head-mounted medium laser and twin small lasers in the center torso, this configuration fields a Medium Pulse Laser and a Medium Laser together in the left arm and an MRM 10 in the right arm. The TAG in the right torso carries over unchanged in position. A Beagle active probe sits in the left torso and a C3 slave unit in the right torso. Luthien Armor Works builds it at its OmniMech production facility on Luthien, with additional production at Irian BattleMechs Unlimited.
