Nightstar NSR-9J (Holt)

The NSR-9J (Holt) is a 95-ton assault that fights at long range, a field-refit rework of the 2767 original that carries over its twin Gauss rifles in the arms and its ER PPC in the right torso. In place of the paired medium pulse lasers it fields a Large Pulse Laser in the left torso, and the head-mounted Small Laser is swapped for an ER Small Laser. An Angel ECM suite fills the right torso, and Triple-Strength Myomer replaces the base model's standard myomer, letting the machine push its cruising speed to 54 km/h under combat heat. Cruising speed and top speed otherwise hold at 32 and 54 km/h, with a jump range of 90 metres, and the type remains a maintenance-intensive command 'Mech assembled piecemeal rather than at a fixed factory line.
