Nightstar NSR-9FC

The NSR-9FC is a 95-ton juggernaut built on a heavier 380 XL fusion engine than the 3057 rework's predecessor, the 2767 NSR-9J, raising cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h. Where the NSR-9J mounts a Gauss Rifle and Medium Pulse Laser in each arm, this variant carries an LB 10-X AC and a Medium Laser in both the left and right arm, and the Small Laser in the head gives way to a Medium Laser. The ER PPC remains in the right torso, and CASE has been added in the left torso. Heat-sink count drops from 14 to 13 double heat sinks. Like the NSR-9J, it is built as a command 'Mech and remains a maintenance-intensive design, manufactured by General Motors at Kathil.
