Marauder IIC 4

The Marauder IIC 4 is an 85-ton assault rebuilt around long-range fire support, a shift from the close-in brawling role of the 2828 Marauder IIC. Where the original carried a pair of ER PPCs and medium pulse lasers in each arm, an ER PPC in the left torso, and ER small lasers scattered across the torsos, this variant strips all of that away for a single HAG/40 in the left torso and a matching HAG/40 in the right torso. The engine swaps from a standard 340 fusion plant to a 340 XL fusion unit, cruising and top speed unchanged at 43 and 65 km/h, and the design now carries jump jets good for 90 metres. Armor reverts from ferro-fibrous to standard plate, and the heat-sink count falls from 21 to 10 double sinks. It remains a command 'Mech with hyper-extending arm actuators, built by Gorton, Kingsley & Thorpe Enterprises at Satalice.
