Recognition notes
The Linebacker A is a 65-ton heavy fielded as a long-range sniper, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97. Where the Prime configuration mounts an ER PPC in each arm, this configuration carries an ER Large Laser in the left arm and another in the right. The left torso houses an LRM 15 in place of the Prime's LRM 5, while the right torso trades the Streak SRM 4 and rear-facing ER Small Laser for a pair of ER Medium Lasers and an LRM 5. Both configurations share the stable firing platform of the chassis, running on a 390 XL fusion engine with ferro-fibrous armor. The type is built by WC Site 1, with other sites also producing it.
