Recognition notes
The Kintaro KTO-18 is a 55-ton skirmisser, a 2792 rebuild of the 2587 KTO-19. Where the original splits an LRM 5 and SRM 6 into the left arm and pairs two medium lasers in the right, the KTO-18 consolidates the SRM 6, a medium laser, and the LRM 5 into the left arm, leaving a single medium laser in the right. In the center torso a SRM 6 replaces the Narc, and standard armor replaces the KTO-19's ferro-fibrous plating. It cruises at 54 km/h and tops out at 86, and keeps the rugged, field-serviceable frame of the earlier machine. General Dynamics builds it at Ozawa.
