Flea FLE-21

The Flea FLE-21 is a 20-ton scout, a 3139 rebuild of the 2501 FLE-4 original. Where the FLE-4 ran on a 120 fusion engine for 65 km/h cruising and 97 km/h top speed, this version carries a 180 light fusion engine that pushes cruising to 97 km/h and top speed to 151 km/h, with a supercharger in the center torso allowing a sprint burst to 194 km/h. Endo steel structure replaces the standard framing, and stealth armor plating replaces the standard plate of the original. In place of the FLE-4's paired small lasers and right-arm large laser, the FLE-21 mounts an ER medium laser in each arm, and its center torso ER flamer no longer faces rearward as the base model's flamer did. A Guardian ECM suite sits in the right torso, an addition the FLE-4 lacked, and the ten heat sinks are now double rather than single. The design keeps its minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and its easily-serviced layout. Earthwerks-FWL, Inc. builds it at Asuncion, among other sites.
