Recognition notes
The Fire Ant reworks the Flea around close-in brawling, where the 2501 FLE-4 carried a large laser and a pair of small lasers. In place of that laser battery it mounts three machine guns in each arm, and flamers now sit in the left torso, right torso, and head rather than the single rear-facing flamer of the FLE-4. Endo steel structure replaces the base model's standard framing, and a MASC unit in the center torso lets it sprint to 130 km/h on top of its 65 km/h cruise and 97 km/h top speed. The minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands carry over from the original, and Earthwerks Ltd. builds the type at Victoria.
